New Safety Measures For COVID-19

As we continue to adapt and respond to Covid-19 and our “new normal,” Pure Plastic Surgery wants to assure you that the safety of our patients and staff are our number one priority. In order to ensure health and safety, we are establishing new safety measures as follows.

Health Screening

All of our staff members are regularly tested for Covid-19 and receive continuous training on containing the virus.

Patients must have a negative Covid-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test within 72 hours of their surgery. Our staff will gladly coordinate this test locally for patients.

Upon entering the clinic, all staff, patients, and vendors will have their temperature checked. Those with a temperature of 100.4 or higher are not permitted to enter the facility and are encouraged to undergo Covid-19 testing.

Maintaining a Clean & Safe Environment

Our clinic is thoroughly disinfected several times a day. Face masks must be worn at all times upon entering the clinic. Pure Plastic Surgery provides hand sanitizer near entrances and exits to all rooms, which we encourage patients to use upon arriving at the clinic and frequently throughout your visit.

Limiting Capacity & Maintaining Social Distance

Only patients and essential staff are currently permitted inside the clinic. Once inside, we ask that patients please maintain a safe social distance from others. To limit the number of people inside the clinic, we ask that patients do not bring their children to appointments and that caregivers wait outside in their car. If you require assistance, please call our staff from your car upon arriving at the clinic. A staff member will then happily help you out of the car and safely inside.

Considerations for Out of Town Patients

If you are traveling to Pure Plastic Surgery from out of town, we ask that you plan to arrive at least three to four days before your surgery to allow for PCR Covid-19 testing to be completed on time. During your stay in Florida, we encourage you to practice social distancing and other safety measures such as wearing a face mask in public and washing your hands often. In addition, we suggest that you limit your movement around town as much as possible to limit your contact with others.
