Best Plastic Surgery Procedures to Have During the Summer
Summertime is a fabulous season for plastic and cosmetic surgery! We find that some patients prefer to have their surgery in the fall and winter to reduce the aftercare blues associated with fajas and other compression apparel that can be uncomfortable in places with extreme heat. However, in the summer when the sun is shining, there isn’t snow on the ground, and vitamin D is prevalent, many prefer this time of year to have their surgeries and we definitely understand the sentiment. If you’re worried about having FOMO on the fun summer festivities, then here are three procedures perfect for the summer due to their amazing results and shorter period for recovery.

Rhinoplasty surgery, commonly called a “nose job” is performed to change the appearance of the nose and can also be done to improve breathing or other nasal complications. During a rhinoplasty, you can change all areas of the nose from the dorsal hump, nasal bridge, nose ridge, nostrils and nasal tip. This surgery is tailored to the patients’ needs, goals and their facial shape.
Patients 16 years of age and older choose to have a rhinoplasty in the summer because recovery is about one (1) week and requires resting with the head raised higher than the chest, applying sunscreen daily and wearing the nasal dressing for two (2) weeks. For 30 days you will need to avid the following:
- Showering (baths are recommended)

- Running
