If I’m a very active person, will I be able to continue working out as much as I was before surgery? How long will I need to wait to resume working out?

Yes, you will be able to continue to workout as much as you did before surgery as long as you wait the appropriate time indicated by your surgeon. For most procedures this is about six weeks.

How long will it be before my implants drop to their final position?

A

Breast implants can take 3-6 months to obtain their final position.

How soon can I get back to work after breast augmentation?

A

Within a week after breast augmentation surgery you can return to work as long as it does not involve heavy lifting or strenuous exercise.

When can I begin jogging after breast implants?

A

You can begin jogging and running after six weeks.

When can I begin having sex again after breast augmentation?

A

You can have sex again after 4 weeks.

How much fat is needed for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)?

A

There is no predetermined amount of fat needed to perform a BBL. However, a patient with a body mass index less than 20 would not be a good candidate.

Liposuction is performed and that fat is used to augment the buttock.

What is the normal recovery time?

A

Recovery consists of wearing a compression garment for 6 weeks. Sitting is to be avoided for a minimum of 2 weeks. After two weeks you can use a BBL pillow for 4 more weeks.

A
